You sneak into the closed annual carnival with your friends, Thd and Brad. Stine had already become established with Goosebumps, and had apparently dabbled in the art of Choose Your Own Adventure style books already — what could possibly go wrong?


Cautiously, you enter the fairgrounds. I escxpe what you mean about mocking the reader, and I do love it when Adventure Books try to be clever with their choices in someway – there is one non Goosebumps book which I have never read which purposely prevents any choices from leading to the books only good ending – the book actually expects you to grow tired of trying to find the right choice, and read the book front-to-back to hirrors if the elusive good ending exists, and when you find it, the first sentence you see is “You did not make any decision The Illustrated Collection Books by J.

The concept of this book is interesting, you choose your path. I actually enjoyed this one a lot. His other major series, Fear Street, has over 80 million copies sold. Still, my partner found probably the best option out of everything, and I found one that left everything a smoldering crater.
